The Peninsula and Orient line, now referred to as P&O has a wonderful history of taking passengers to India and the far East when there was no air travel. The fleet of ships still carry the buff coloured funnel and are quite British in style. Comprising of the ships Adonia, Arcadia, Aurora, Azura, Oceania, Oriana and Ventura. The newly built Brittania  entered service last year.

There are now three Queen's the  Queen Mary 2 the Queen Victoria and the Queen Elizabeth, the latter two being sister ships of about 90,000 GRT and carrying just over 2,000 guests when full and the Queen Mary 2 being 150,00 GRT and carrying over 2,600 guests.
